The exterior of the hotel and annexes exuded charm and character, with lovely outside seating areas that unfortunately, due to the weather and time constraints, we did not have the opportunity to enjoy. We were accommodated in the main house above the bar in room no. 1, Known as the castle, which was spacious and tastefully decorated. the family room had a sofa bed, which we used as a sofa, and offered delightful views over the fields across the road. The service from the staff, particularly the night porter, was exceptional. the room itself was modern, up to date, and well-stocked with essentials, providing a comfortable and homely environment. Despite being located above the bar, we were not disturbed by any noise, making for a peaceful and restful stay. the cleanliness of the room and the attentiveness of the housekeeping staff further added to the overall positive experience. One of the standout features of the Innkeepers Lodge was its convenient location, with easy access to local amenities and attractions. the proximity to the park and ride facility was also a major plus, making it easy to explore the surrounding area at our convenience. the room was spacious, comfortable, and full of character, with a modern and well-appointed bathroom. the free parking was a welcome convenience, as was the helpful and friendly reception staff who assisted with our check-in and taxi arrangements. While we did not have the opportunity to sample the food and drinks on this occasion, the menu looked enticing, and we look forward to trying them on our next visit. Overall, the value proposition of the Innkeepers Lodge was excellent, providing a comfortable and enjoyable experience at a reasonable cost. the combination of attentive staff, convenient location, and comfortable facilities made for a memorable stay, and we will certainly be returning in the future. I highly recommend the Innkeepers Lodge for anyone seeking a relaxing and pleasant accommodation option in the area.
